In case it's too hard to see with all those ~fancy~ font choices, check below for the transcribed rules.

Product - M KALK KITCHEN RULES! 1. ONE DISH and ONE GLASS per meal! We keep it clean and expect you to as well! 2. ALL DISHES AND GLASSES MUST BE CLEANED BY HAND. We've had some issues in the past with non-complacency 3. NO DISHWASHER USE DURING NEIGHBORHOOD QUIET HOURS! • 09
Font - mferly +3. 14 hr. ago This was the one that made zero sense to me. Well, that and the fact that their dishwasher is apparently loud enough to wake the dead. Seriously though.. how does one write that down as a rule while holding a straight face. It has to be a joke. Also, how would they even know if you kept food in the fridge for longer than 16 hours? Also, what's the point of having a fridge if you can't store food in it? That's kinda the entire purpose of a fridge.

People also began sharing their own reasons for switching back to hotels after painful Airbnb stays.

Font - brantmacga 3 hr. ago This is why I've stopped using airBnB to stay at private homes. Usually I'd be somewhere for one, maybe two nights in and out for work, and there's a $200+ cleaning fee, but also I was expected to clean. There is one specific hotel I stay at next to an mlb baseball stadium that lists their rooms at 1/2 price on Airbnb, and that is the only thing I will use it for.

Font - Busy-Ad1088 +1 15 hr. ago . Airbnb is such crap these days. Greedy hosts and their stupid rules. I prefer hotels now, especially the ones with a free breakfast. The cost is pretty much the same now. But at least you don't have to clean the place before you leave and you can get the room cleaned when you want.

Smile - Far-Programmer3189 +2 14 hr. ago I stayed at an Airbnb where they wouldn't let you flush the toilet during the night
  • 24
Font - Damaias479 . 13 hr. ago AirBnBs are often more expensive depending on the cleaning fees. I've had 2-night stays listed as $90 a night, but the total comes out to like $350 because of admin and cleaning fees. It's especially ridiculous because the places with the most exorbitant fees have insane rules like in the OP, so why tf do they need to charge so much to clean the place when the guests are expected to do so?

Font - pspetrini +2. 13 hr. ago I will NEVER understand the idea of staying at an AirBNB. "Would you like to save seven bucks? All you have to sacrifice is your personal freedom, security, peace of mind and comfort. Oh and you will also have to adhere to a f ton of unnecessary rules and serve as both the kitchen staff and cleaning service or this trip is gonna cost you an additional three hundred bucks. And if you complain, the owner is gonna give you a negative review so you probably won't be a

Font - Tanner_w22+1 10 hr. ago Gave up on Airbnb. Used to be cool but now it's literally just companies buying up thousands of "apartments" and renting them out at sky high prices claiming they're sky high cause they don't have money like hotels, and then the individual owners who are trying to compete because they read somewhere it's a great way to make money. Stayed at a hotel for $130/night and got: a comfy king size bed, a badass rainfall shower, a corner room with a sick view(8th floor), fr

Font - WILL END YOU znienacka 2 hr. ago . Agreed. I recently rented a studio through Airbnb after a loooong while and... welp, mixed bag at least - the super long list of rules, reasonable but written in a weird passive-aggressive manner including the one "do not throw away your garbage, we'll sort it for you" (technically for recycling purposes but I think I can manage separate recyclables from the rest), a wardrobe full of s labeled "do not use" and "private", and after all the fees price was

Font - Zenketski_2 +2 14 hr. ago No, no, no, no, no, no, and no. Easy peasy. Not a single one of these f rules is realistic or even remotely reasonable. In fact some of them are f contradictory. And for the love of god, tell me to be quiet at 1:00 in the afternoon. That might be enough to get me to go full karen.
